Our corporate social responsibility and sustainability initiatives include the reduction of air emissions in our processes, and replacing non-environmentally friendly chemicals with those that are. We’re finding more ways to recycle, not discard, such as not allowing common-use, everyday batteries to leave our facility for local landfills. Altairnano uses built-in, self-regulating mechanisms whereby we monitor and ensure adherence to law, ethical standards and international norms.
